At this point if they said Ronald McDonald was leaving as the mascot of McDonald’s to try his hand at some Country music, I wouldn’t even think twice.
Because it just seems like that’s the popular thing to do nowadays. So, should we welcome Nick Jonas, or the Jonas Brothers into the Country world, because the more the merrier?
Nick Jonas just posted a teaser making it sure seem like he’s experimenting with Country music. First off, he was recording in Nashville.
And secondly, he was recording with Shay Mooney of Dan + Shay fame . . . and also with Tommy English, who’s worked with Kacey Musgraves and Little Big Town in the past.
On top of that, the video he posted in the studio is muted. So, no one knows what the sound will be, or if it’s even Country. But there are plenty of clues leading us to guess that he, or they, are about to drop a Country song.
The Jonas Brothers brought out Bailey Zimmerman for last year’s song, “Strong Enough”. And earlier this month, they tried to sing a cover of “Friends in Low Places” by Garth Brooks. Unfortunately, it didn’t go over too well.
