The Cringiest Dating App Texts Include

If you can’t seem to find anyone on dating apps, maybe stop opening every conversation with the EGGPLANT emoji.

Someone asked 2,000 people about one-liners and emojis people use on apps like Tinder and Bumble, and which ones are the CRINGIEST.

The eggplant emoji is near the top of the list, but isn’t #1.  Here are the top five.

1.  “Send pics.”  45% rated it as one of the rudest or cringiest things you can say.  Especially if it’s the first message you send.

2.  The eggplant emoji.  

3.  “Hey sexy, what’s your number?”

4.  “Do you like bad boys?”  Or “bad girls,” depending on who’s texting.

5.  Cringey responses.  Like they say they need to go take a shower, and you say, “Without ME?”

Here are a few more that ranked high:  “You’re so HAWT,” spelled H-A-W-T . . . “What you wearing?” . . . “Did it hurt when you fell from Heaven?” . . . the word “hey” with multiple Y’s . . . and the letters “DTF.”
