Sabrina Carpenter’s “Short n’ Sweet” concert in San Francisco turned into quite the spectacle for attendees last weekend. Imagine waiting to see your favorite pop star, only to have the moment interrupted by a random woman squatting in the concert pit and urinating right there on the floor. Yes, you read that right! TikTok users quickly turned the jaw-dropping incident into viral content, proving that sometimes reality really does outshine the wildest expectations.
Fans were quick to react, some sharing videos that showed the stunned crowd and the aftermath of the incident. Security wasted no time in kicking the alleged offender out, but not before concertgoers made light of the situation with signs declaring they got “peed on in the pit.” For those who thought they’d seen it all at concerts, this incident really raised the bar—or lowered it, depending on how you look at it!
As crazy as it sounds, there’s something to be said for the resilience of concert crowds. Instead of letting an unexpected “bathroom break” ruin their experience, fans reportedly managed to keep the spirit of the concert alive. Who knew that witnessing such a bizarre moment would become an unforgettable memory? Or at least a talking point for the ride home!
So next time you’re jamming out at a concert, keep your eyes peeled and your shoes safe—because you never know what might happen in the pit. Just remember, everyone’s got a story about that one weird concert moment, but not everyone can claim a “puddle” story!
Second,
Is 50 the new 20? A lot of parents are acting like it . . .
“The Wall Street Journal” just did a story on how the hot new trend is to visit your kid at college to PARTY with them. Their headline is, “It’s 10 A.M. and Dad’s Doing Jell-O Shots. Must Be Parents’ Weekend.”
Touring the campus and meeting professors is still a thing schools offer. But apparently more and more parents are following that stuff up with keg stands.
They talked to a 53-year-old mom from Kansas with multiple kids, who said she’s done nine parents’ weekends at three schools . . . played lots of beer pong and flip cup . . . and once held a girl’s hair back for her while she puked.
She claims her kids are COOL with it and seem to ENJOY partying with her. She said they like seeing that side of her, because it’s a, quote, “different aspect of the parental relationship.”
Her 22-year-old daughter agreed. She said it’s fun hanging out with her mom and dad as adults, because she gets to “see them not just as parents.”
The director of sororities and fraternities at the University of Arizona confirmed it’s a major trend now. He said he’s seen parents do beer bongs and dance on tables.
He said they sometimes act crazier than their kids. But the school’s philosophy is, “We try not to parent the parents. Who am I to remind you to be on your best behavior?”
Third,
Beyoncé has officially ascended to her throne as Queen of the Grammys. Nominations were announced Friday, and she got 11 . . . making her the most-nominated artist of all time, with 99 total.
Her husband Jay-Z is second with 89, followed by Paul McCartney with 84. The late Quincy Jones is 4th with 80.
Beyoncé also has the most WINS of all time, with 32. A Hungarian-British conductor named Sir Georg Solti is second with 31, but he won’t be catching up anytime soon. He died in 1997.
Quincy Jones is third on this list with 28.
