3 Things to Know Including The COOLEST Fan Connection to Taylor Swift

A fan of Taylor Swift identified as Court believes that Swift wore her old Kansas City Chiefs bomber jacket during the game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Court shared her discovery on social media, claiming that the jacket was purchased by Swift’s stylist, Joseph Cassell Falconer, and listed for $169 on eBay. The excitement escalated when Court and her family dug deeper and found that the jacket had indeed been shipped to California, where Falconer is based.

After examining the details of the jacket, Court noticed it had similar flaws to her own, reinforcing her belief that it was the very same jacket she had sold. She has a history as a fan of Swift for almost 20 years and described this discovery as one of the coolest moments of her life, blending fandom with a touch of vintage style. As she recounts this experience, it’s clear that being a “Super Swiftie” can lead to unexpected and delightful surprises, showcasing the fun of music fandom in a truly unique way.

Third,

Do you feel like your coworkers respect you?  If not, here’s how you might be able to EARN their respect . . .

The author of a book called “The Mentally Strong Leader” says that whether you’re the boss or an entry-level employee, there are three categories of things you need to do to gain people’s respect at work:  Give . . . resist . . . and exude.

1.  Give.  Be generous with your time and knowledge.  Praise other people’s efforts.  Take time to offer good feedback.  And give other people YOUR respect.

2.  Resist.  Resist the temptation to gossip about coworkers.  Don’t get roped into being negative.  And resist taking credit for stuff, even when it’s deserved.  Be modest instead, and talk about how it was a group effort.  They’ll still know you deserve the credit, but they’ll respect you for resisting.

3.  Exude.  Exude professionalism, which includes not being late to stuff.  Be open, honest, and transparent.  Exude confidence.  Collaborate.  Be accountable for your own mistakes.  And be authentic.  When people know they’re getting the real you, they respect you for it.
