Disney’s Haunted Mansion might be a little more haunted than usual right now . . .
Disney World had to temporarily shut down its Haunted Mansion ride over the weekend after a guest scattered their loved one’s ASHES on it.
It’s not clear how long it was shut down for, but everyone on the ride had to be evacuated. An employee posted about it on Reddit as it was happening.
They said, “As I write this, Haunted Mansion is down and being evacuated due to someone spreading human ashes on the ride.”
They said it’s a dumb thing to do. Because ultimately, the person’s ashes will just end up in the TRASH. Quote, “Your loved one’s ashes are going to be vacuumed up into a bucket with mouse droppings [and] thrown in the garbage.”
They also said it was definitely caught on video. So the person will likely be banned from all Disney parks.
